We Need You on the PTA Board!

If you are interested in becoming part of the PTA board, this is your opportunity! Our PTA treasurer of many years, Matt Durden, is looking for a successor to take over his position in the 2021-22 school year. Matt would be happy to have you shadow the position for the rest of this school year to become familiar with the job.

Interested? Here is what you need to know: If you have organizational skills and attention to detail, this is all you need. Your job, with the support of the PTA board and guidance from Principal Epps, is to make sure that PTA funds are being spent in a way that is approved, supports the education of our kids, and is consistent with the mission of the PTA. You will lead the annual budget drafting process based on information from history and input from the board and Scroggs staff. You will keep track of income and expenses and write checks to Scroggs teachers and staff to reimburse them according to the annual PTA budget.
